Alert on Waste Co-Processing

Mexico City generates around 13,000 tons of waste on a daily basis, out of which 8,600 tons are sent to landfills, and only 1,900 tons are recycled. On January 18, the Department of the Environment and Natural Resources published a decree amending the General Law for the Prevention and Integral Management of Waste, in the matter of Waste co-processing.
